Job Description

Job Responsibilities

Ensure timely and accurate entry of Accounts Receivable invoices into the respective accounting software and support the AR process for collections.
Handle Cash, Imprest, Bank, and Credit Card related entries; perform monthly reconciliations of all cash, imprest, bank, credit card balances, and vendor accounts.
Maintain an organized Accounting Database in both soft copy and hard copy formats.
Assist in preparing GST and TDS return data on a monthly or quarterly basis, as applicable.
Ensure timely and accurate month-end activities, including journals, work papers, and reconciliations.
Prepare Cash, Bank, and Imprest MIS reports on a weekly/monthly basis.
Provide support during Internal and External Audits.
Collaborate with various departments to provide inter-departmental support for accounting-related queries.
Assist with processing payments, cash disbursements, and reconciling bank/investment accounts.
Conduct collection follow-ups to ensure timely receipt of payments.

Required Skills

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Good communication skillsboth verbal and written.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Experience with accounting software (added advantage).

Qualifications

Experience: 01 year in the relevant field.

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
