Key Responsibilities

• Accounting & Bookkeeping
• Maintain accurate daily accounting entries in compliance with accounting standards.
• Handle Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable, vendor payments, invoicing & reconciliations.
• Perform Bank, Cash & Credit Card Reconciliation regularly.
• Verify & process employee reimbursements, petty cash, and operational expenses.
• Manage month-end closing activities ledgers, depreciation, provisions, accruals, and schedules.
• Compliance & Reporting
• Assist in preparing and filing GST returns, GST input reconciliation, and related documentation.
• Handle TDS calculations, payments, and returns.
• Maintain proper documentation for statutory compliance.
• Prepare MIS reports, financial summaries, P&L statements, and expense tracking reports.
• Tax Audit & Statutory Audit Support
• Coordinate with auditors during Tax Audit & Statutory Audit.
• Prepare audit schedules, ledger extracts, supporting documents & reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, depreciation statements, compliance files, and tax audit reports.
• Respond to audit queries promptly and accurately.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Core Accounting, GST, TDS, and Tax Audit fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience in maintaining books of accounts.
• Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Formatting).
• Working knowledge of Tally / Zoho Books / QuickBooks is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Qualifications
• B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
• 23 years of experience in accounting or audit roles.
• Experience in tax audit support is preferred.
