Role OverviewWe are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The role involves handling day-to-day accounts, GST compliance, invoicing, reconciliations, and supporting overall financial operations. This position is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and basic knowledge of accounting practices.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain day-to-day books of accounts in Tally/Excel
- Prepare and record sales, purchase, and journal entries
- Generate and manage GST-compliant invoices
- Assist in monthly GST filings, TDS entries, and audit support
- Handle bank reconciliations and petty cash management
- Maintain ledgers and ensure accuracy in financial reporting
- Coordinate with vendors, clients, sales, and dispatch teams for billing clarity
- Prepare basic MIS reports and assist management in financial analysis
Must-Have Skills- Proficiency in Tally and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, etc.)
- Understanding of GST, TDS, and compliance basics
- Strong numerical and analytical ability
- Good communication skills in English/Telugu/Hindi
- Attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)- Experience with Zoho Books or other accounting software
- Knowledge of manufacturing/packaging industry accounting
- Exposure to audits and statutory compliance
Qualifications- Graduate in B.Com, BBA (Finance), M.Com or equivalent
- 02 years of accounting experience (freshers with strong basics may apply)
Other Details- Probation: 3 months
- Notice Period: 1 month
