An Accounts Executive for Client of Grothony Global Solutions on Company Role will handle day-to-day accounting, billing, and GST/compliance work for the wholesale and retail business of power tools, bearings, and other industrial goods at the Vashi, Navi Mumbai office.

Key responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day books of accounts in Tally or similar accounting software (sales, purchase, receipts, payments, journal entries).
- Prepare sales invoices, delivery challans, credit/debit notes and ensure correct posting with item-wise GST and HSN codes.
- Handle accounts receivable and payable: party ledger reconciliation, payment follow-up with customers, timely payment to suppliers, and ageing reports.
- Manage bank work: bank reconciliation statements, cheque/NEFT/RTGS entries, and tracking of deposits and withdrawals.
- Assist in GST working: outward and inward supply summaries, input credit reconciliation, data preparation for GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and other returns in coordination with the CA.
- Support statutory compliance like TDS details, professional tax data, and documentation for audits as guided by the CA/management.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of invoices, purchase bills, GRNs, expense vouchers and other financial records for easy retrieval.
- Coordinate with the sales and stores team regarding pricing, stock, returns, and credit notes to ensure accurate accounts.
- Prepare basic MIS reports: daily/weekly sales summary, collection report, outstanding statement, and expense reports for management review.
Candidate profile
- Education: B.Com / M.Com or equivalent commerce background.
- Experience: 13 years in accounts role, preferably in trading, wholesale, hardware, tools or industrial goods environment;
- Skills:
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and ledger posting.
- Hands-on experience with Tally ERP or similar software, MS Excel and basic computer operations.
- Basic understanding of GST, billing, and stock-related accounting.
- Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and disciplined record-keeping.
- Other: Comfortable working from office, ready for 6-day working as per trading norms; familiarity with Navi Mumbai/Vashi area is an added advantage.
