Position OverviewThe Account Executive will be responsible for maintaining financial accuracy, managing customer and vendor accounts, ensuring timely reporting, and supporting the company's business growth with insightful financial analysis. This role requires someone who is meticulous, proactive, and business-savvy, capable of balancing both numbers and relationships in a fast-paced textile environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management & Reporting:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including billing, invoicing, reconciliation, and journal entries.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions in Tally or ERP systems.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
- Assist in audits and ensure compliance with statutory regulations (GST, TDS, etc.).
Accounts Receivable & Payable:
- Monitor and manage collections from clients and distributors.
- Process supplier payments and maintain vendor reconciliation.
- Handle petty cash, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking.
Client & Business Support:
- Liaise with clients and internal teams regarding billing, order tracking, and account updates.
- Support the sales and merchandising teams with costing, quotations, and order documentation.
- Contribute to pricing strategies and profitability analysis.
Process Improvement:
- Streamline accounting procedures and recommend improvements for efficiency.
- Ensure proper documentation, filing, and digital record maintenance.
Required Skills & Competencies- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance (B.Com, M.Com preferred).
- 24 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the textile, manufacturing, or export industry.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances is mandatory.
