Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to manage end-to-end payroll processing, statutory compliance related to PF & ESIC, and required accounting support within our manufacturing setup. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll procedures, Indian labour law compliances, and hands-on experience with PF/ESIC portals and payroll software.
Key Responsibilities
1. Payroll Management
- Process monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy in salary, attendance, leave encashment, overtime, and statutory deductions.
- Prepare salary statements, payslips, and payroll registers.
- Handle new joiner entries, resignations, and full & final settlements.
- Validate attendance data with HR and department heads before payroll runs.
- Maintain confidentiality and complete accuracy in payroll records.
2. Provident Fund (PF) Compliance
- Calculate monthly PF contributions and prepare PF challans.
- File ECR on EPFO portal within due timelines.
- Update employee PF details, handle PF withdrawals, transfers, and queries.
- Maintain PF registers and statutory documentation.
3. ESIC Compliance
- Calculate ESIC contributions and generate monthly challans.
- Upload employee data on ESIC portal and manage IP registrations.
- Support employees with ESIC cards, claim processes, and documentation.
- Maintain ESIC-related registers as per statutory norms.
4. Statutory Records & Documentation
- Maintain and update all statutory registers related to payroll, PF & ESIC.
- Ensure compliance with Payment of Wages Act, PF Act, ESIC Act, Bonus norms, and related labour laws.
- Prepare MIS reports on payroll, deductions, statutory payments, employee headcount cost, etc.
- Coordinate with auditors during statutory and internal audits.
5. Coordination & Support
- Liaise with HR, Accounts, and Production teams for data coordination.
- Resolve employee queries related to salary, PF/ESIC, deductions, or leaves.
- Assist in general accounting and HR administrative duties as required.
Candidate Profile
Educational Qualification
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) preferred.
- Certifications in payroll or statutory compliance will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in:
- Payroll processing
- PF calculations & filings
- ESIC calculations & filings
- Statutory compliance in a manufacturing or similar labour-intensive setup
Technical Skills
- Proficient in:
- Payroll software (Tally ERP, Saral, Zoho People, GreytHR, or similar)
- MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, MIS reporting)
- EPFO & ESIC portal usage
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Soft Skills
- High integrity and confidentiality.
