Role Description The Junior Academic Counsellor is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhopal. This role involves guiding prospective and current learners in selecting suitable courses, based on their academic background, career interests, and skill-development goals. The Junior Academic Counsellor will conduct one-on-one counseling sessions, respond to inquiries in person and via phone or digital channels, and provide clear information about course structure, fees, and learning outcomes. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate student records, coordinating with faculty and administration, supporting admissions processes, and following up with learners to track progress and satisfaction. The role also includes helping organize orientation sessions, sharing updates about new programs, and contributing to a supportive, learner-focused environment.
Qualifications
- Strong student counseling and academic advising skills, with the ability to understand learner needs and recommend appropriate programs.
- Excellent communication skills, including clear spoken and written English, and the ability to explain academic and career options effectively.
- Experience or interest in career counseling and education, especially in digital marketing or related fields.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, Management, or a related discipline.
- Ability to build rapport with diverse learners, handle multiple inquiries, and work collaboratively with teaching and administrative teams.
- Basic familiarity with digital marketing concepts and online learning platforms is an advantage.
