Role Description This full-time Academic Counsellor role is an on-site position based in Kochi. The Academic Counsellor will guide students through their educational pathways, including MAP, by conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, identifying academic needs, and recommending suitable programs and courses. The role involves supporting students in setting academic and career goals, coordinating with faculty and administrative teams, and ensuring accurate documentation of student progress. The Academic Counsellor will also conduct information sessions, respond to student and parent inquiries, and provide ongoing guidance to help students prepare for international transitions and long-term career success.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Student Counseling and Academic Advising skills to support diverse learner needs.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact clearly with students, families, and institutional stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess Career Counseling and Education sector knowledge to guide learners toward suitable academic and professional pathways.
- Relevant experience in academic counseling, student services, or education management is beneficial.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively, maintain accurate records, and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Familiarity with international education systems and global university admissions processes is an advantage.
