Responsibilities:

  • Around 10+ years of experience in Networking domain
  • Architect, Design and develop L3-L7 network services with balance of quality and time to market
  • Able to articulate, document and communicate ideas across team
  • Software maintenance, including triage, analysis and code modification for reported problems
  • Design and implement complex algorithms with simple and easy to maintain code
  • Work closely with product management team developing requirements
  • Develop detail functional specification and software system architecture for feature development.
  • Be part of a culture that thrives on openness, transparency and more technical decisions in the hands of engineers
  • Mentor and guide the team in technical areas in the domain of work

Skills:

  • A BE/B.Tech. or higher degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • A minimum of years of experience as an individual contributor in a Networking Product development company.
  • Strong C, system design, debugging skills and ability to handle customer escalations.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills required, with ability to work harmoniously in a dynamic group.
  • A strong understanding of concepts related to computer architecture, systems, data structures and programming practices
  • Good understanding and experience with UNIX/LINUX internals.
  • Thorough knowledge of TCP/IP , IPv6 networking protocols.
  • Experience with stateful TCP/UDP/IP flow-based data path development is a strong plus.
  • Experience/exposure to L4 and L7 security policies is a strong plus.
  • Good knowledge of Router/Firewall arch is a plus.
  • Experience with multi core (SMP) and multithreaded platforms.
  • Experience with shared memory multiprocessor systems, technical leadership is a plus
  • Knowledge of software packaging, designing software APIs, make files in complex build environments
  • A clear understanding of the product development cycle, technical requirements and project life cycle
  • Demonstrated ability to do large scale projects spanning geographies
