Your role:
Manages different functional/competency teams, units and respective budgets within R&D software development focused on shaping and delivering new or upgrading existing software. Selects talent, supervises, coaches and evaluates performance of software development personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the software development function. Acts as the enabler for the teams, has the responsibility for adoption, success and ongoing improvement of agile development and software development practices. Acts as key liaison with other functions and organizations outside R&D to drive business results.u00A0

Key areas of responsibility

Is responsible for End-to-End design, development, delivery and maintenance of software development. Manages diverse matrix organizations through Software Leaders. Defines cross-u00A0CPu00A0(Clinical Platform)u00A0software development strategy and vision, shaping engineering strategy across allu00A0value streams within CPu00A0and identifying potentialu00A0improvements, synergies.u00A0u00A0

Executes on the organizationu2019s strategy, providing clearly defined success criteria and levels of accountability for individuals in the team. Removes impediments for the progress of the teams and acts as escalation point.u00A0

You're the right fit if:

Bacheloru2019s or Masteru2019s degree in engineering or related discipline.u00A0

Overall 15 years of work experience or more of which 12+ years in people/program management in healthcare products domain.u00A0

Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish/maintain high level of customer trust and confidence.u00A0

Proven ability to lead software development projects and ensure objectives, goals, and commitments are met.u00A0

Demonstrated history of working in globally matrixed teams and hard/soft influencing skills.u00A0

Good understanding of Project Management practices and Scaled Agile Frameworku00A0u00A0

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the companyu2019s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the companyu2019s main facilities, generally at the customersu2019 or suppliersu2019 locations.
