Copywriter Group Head

Location: Goregaon East (Onsite, 5 days a week)

Salary: Up to 16 LPA

Experience: 7-10 years in copywriting from a digital agency

Notice Period: Immediate or short notice preferred

Overview

We are seeking a highly creative and strategically driven Group Head – Copy to join our team in an Individual Contributor capacity. This role is ideal for a seasoned copy professional who excels at crafting impactful communication, developing campaign ideas, and delivering exceptional creative work across digital platforms. Please note that while the designation is Group Head, this role does not involve people management.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Development: Conceptualize and develop compelling creative ideas and copy for digital-first campaigns.
Content Creation: Write and refine copy across various formats, including social media, digital films, websites, landing pages, performance marketing, CRM, emailers, blogs, and integrated campaigns.
Brand Messaging: Develop brand narratives, campaign messaging, taglines, scripts, and both long- and short-form content.
Collaboration: Work closely with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Designers, Strategists, and Client Servicing teams to create effective and engaging campaigns.
Alignment: Ensure all communication aligns with brand tone, campaign objectives, and business goals.
Presentation: Present creative concepts and rationale to internal teams and clients as required.
Quality Assurance: Review and refine content to maintain high standards of creativity, consistency, and accuracy.
Trend Awareness: Stay updated with emerging digital trends, consumer behavior, and platform best practices to bring fresh thinking to campaigns.
Project Management: Manage multiple brands and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience: 7–10+ years of experience in copywriting within a digital advertising or creative agency.
Expertise: Strong expertise in digital communication, social media, content strategy, integrated campaigns, and brand storytelling.
Skills: Exceptional conceptual thinking and writing skills across multiple digital platforms and formats.
Independence: Ability to independently own projects from ideation to execution.
Communication: Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing award-worthy or high-impact digital campaigns is mandatory.
