SSC CGL notification has been released on June 24, 2024, which details the exam process and important dates.
The SSC CGL selection process involves 3 stages: Tier 1, Tier 2, and Document Verification (DV).
Online test which includes 100 questions in 4 sections: General Intelligence, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English.
Each correct answer in Tier 1 earns 2 marks, while incorrect answers deduct 0.50 marks.
Tier 2 is divided into three papers: Paper-I (mandatory for all), Paper-II, and Paper-III. This stage is crucial for final selection.
Paper-I covers Quantitative Abilities, English Language & Comprehension, Statistics, and General Studies (Finance & Economics).
Paper-II is for Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) aspirants. Paper-III is for candidates aiming for Assistant Audit Officer roles.
Candidates who clear Tiers 1 and 2 undergo Document Verification. Ensure all documents match the information provided in the application.
In case of a tie, the SSC considers Paper-II & III marks, date of birth, and alphabetical order of names to finalize ranks.
