The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) is hiring 50 interns under its Young Professional Program (YPP). This is a great opportunity for freshers to kickstart their careers in finance.
SEBI’s program targets post-graduates to assist in securities market and IT tasks.
Selected professionals will work in Mumbai for one year, with the possibility of 2 one-year extensions.
Professionals won’t be SEBI officers, and no employment guarantees are provided.
Tasks include IPO analysis, corporate governance, and mutual fund surveillance.
Post-graduates in management, CAs, CS, CMAs, and CFAs are eligible to apply.
Professionals are prohibited from trading stocks or equity-related instruments.
Interns will be classified as “insiders” and must not act on or share any unpublished price-sensitive information.
This is SEBI’s first major use of gig workers in the securities market and a unique chance to gain experience in India's financial market regulation.
