Monster Employment Index India registered 10 percent y-o-y growth for April’17

Telecom/ISP led the growth at 40 percent y-o-y; demand in BFSI recovered, at 31 percent y-o-y
Kolkata (up 28 percent) and Baroda (up 27 percent) lead all monitored cities on the year
Automotive/Ancillaries/Tyres (up one percent) continued to exhibit subdued demand.
Online demand in the Banking/ Financial Services, Insurance recovered. The sector registered an 11 percent growth on the month.
