BITS Goa Summer Research Program 2026 follows clear rules. Read these carefully before you join, because the internship is treated like a formal on-campus training assignment.
- Selection authority: The concerned faculty member takes the final call, after checking eligibility and project needs.
- Reporting: Selected interns report to the relevant Head of Department at BITS Pilani, K K Birla Goa Campus.
- End-of-internship deliverables: You must submit a project report and present your work in the department.
- Department forwarding: The department routes a certified soft copy of the project report (endorsed by your guide) to the BGSRP programme coordinator through the departmental process.
- Use of results: You cannot use or share project outcomes publicly unless you have written permission from your project guide at BITS Goa.
- Publishing and submissions: Any paper or write-up based on BGSRP work (conference, journal, seminar, fest, or similar) needs written approval from the project supervisor.
- Financial coverage: BGSRP does not pay honorarium and does not cover medical or transport expenses.

Accommodation and Mess
Hostel stay, if arranged, is handled through the Student Welfare Division (SWD) during the BGSRP period and is chargeable. The summer stay cost indicated for the programme is typically around ₹6,000 to ₹7,000 (approximate range shown for the summer period, subject to the campus concession terms).
